Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits program, along with market-driven compensation ranges, an in-depth, customized orientation program, and ongoing wellness and educational opportunities. Certain positions also enjoy flexible scheduling and a weekend program.




PTO (Paid Time Off)

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours; (Completion of 90 day initial employment period required for non-exempt employees.)

Accrual from date of hire. Program provides flexibility, carry-over, and cash-in options.

Bereavement Leave

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours.

Maximum of up to 24 hours based on relationship with deceased.

Health Insurance








In House Pharmacy Program

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours; Coverage begins 1st of month following 4 weeks of service.





Available to employees and independents enrolled in hospital medical plan.

Comprehensive medical coverage for employee and eligible dependents.

Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.

Discounts at participating eye care providers through Davis Eye Care discount program.


Maintenance medications at a lower out of pocket cost to employees.

Employee Discounts for Medical Services

All Employees.

30% courtesy discount generally will be applied to balances due after insurance payment. This discount applies for employees and their immediate family (husband, wife, child).

* Discount does not apply to Emergency department or physicians office co-payment.

Dental Insurance

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours; Coverage begins 1st of month following 4 weeks of service.

Preventative services 100%, basic 80%, major 50%, orthodontics 50%.

Major services and orthodontia coverage begins following 12 months of coverage. (Orthodontics limited to dependent children to the age of 19.)

Vision Plan

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours.

Voluntary program incorporating office co-pays, significant coverage and savings for employees and their eligible dependents utilizing network providers.

Group Term Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours; Coverage begins 1st of month following 4 weeks of service.

Morris Hospital provides a base life policy at no cost to eligible employees. Supplemental employee life coverage is available through pre-tax payroll deductions. Spousal and dependent life coverage may be purchased through after-tax payroll deductions.

Long Term Disability

FT / PT > 40 per pay period

Coverage begins 1st of month following 4 weeks of service.

65% of monthly average regular wages to a maximum of $15,000 per month. 90 day waiting period; 100% employer funded.

Short Term Disability

FT / PT > 40 per pay period

Coverage begins 1st of month following 4 weeks of service.

60% of average weekly regular wages to a maximum of $500 per week.

21 day waiting period. Employee paid through payroll deductions.

Employee Assistance Program

All Employees

Provides 24 hour a day confidential assistance to employees and dependents for work, home, personal, or family issues.

403B Retirement Plan

All Employees; immediate entry

Employee may contribute pre-tax or Roth after tax dollars. Hospital matches employee contributions up to 5% of wages on a graduated scale based on years of service. Matching begins after employed 1 year and 1000 hours of service. Hospital may contribute a discretionary amount based on years of service and salary. Eligibility differs. Immediate vesting.

"My Choices" Flexible Benefit Plan

FT /PT greater than or equal to 40 hours; Eligibility based on date of hire.

Allowance provided by Morris Hospital during open enrollment to assist employees in purchasing their benefits or as salary if employee elects not to enroll.

Flexible Spending Accounts

FT /PT greater than or equal to 40 hours.

Health Care and Dependent Care Spending Accounts.

Shift Differential

All hourly employees working weekends, evenings, nights and holidays.

Generous differential rates in addition to regular pay.

Educational Assistance

FT / PT greater than or equal to 40 hours. One year of service required.

Percentage based on length of service and employment status (37.5% to 100%) for job related education. Prior approval required.

Healthclub Memberships


All Employees

Morris Hospital pays 50% of annual membership fee (maximum of $154.50). Reimbursements are bi-annual.
